The Village is a 15 minute downhill walk (.78 mi), or a very short drive. Just a few steps across from the unit is the Austria Hof Restaurant and Bar, with Apres starting at 4:00pm. Chair 7 is the closest lift, with a short 4 minute walk (0.2 mi) from my unit! The Canyon Lodge is a 7 minute walk (0.35 mi) with access to rentals, lessons, lockers, and the Village Gondola. The Village Gondola runs from 7:45am - 5:00pm daily. From Canyon Lodge you can also get onto Chairs 17, 16, and 8. (Please note that Canyon Lodge typical operates mid-December through mid-April. You can check with Mammoth Mountain to confirm availability.

Guest Access

As a guest, you’ll have access to an onsite recreation building, which is located directly in front of the building/unit. The recreation building has a large great room with a pool table, foosball, ping pong table, laundry facilities with coin-operated washer and dryer, hot sauna room, and men’s and women’s changing room with showers. There is a gated outdoor pool area with pool and two outdoor hot tubs. The pool area also has BBQ grills, a fire pit and several seating/pool loungers. These spaces are “shared”.

Inside, you’ll find a thoughtfully designed space with cozy mid-century modern furnishings, radiant floor heating, and the latest smart home features. There is a bus stop (#73) conveniently located across the street from the main building/lobby - offering the Blue Line (which will take you to/from The Village) and the Town Trolley (which will take you to/from The Village, Snowcreek, Athletic Club, Juniper Springs Resort). The Town Trolley is a FREE year-round fixed route. The Blue Line is a FREE winter-only route. Current Transit Map with schedule is provided in the House Manual (inside the unit.) You may also go to the Eastern Sierra Transit website to check and verify routes and schedules.
